Javier Chavez, Jr., JD, MBA

A seasoned corporate and business lawyer with over 19 years’ experience, including extensive knowledge of securities laws. Javier provides practical value-driven solutions to business owners, entrepreneurs, venture backed startups, private equity investors, billion-dollar organizations, in numerous industries.

Javier started his career at a large Am Law 100 international law firm Duane Morris LLP in New York City. Javier later became Associate General Counsel at Edward Jones, a Fortune 500 financial services company. He was responsible for securities dispute resolution, corporate reporting, and regulatory compliance at various stages for the $2.4 trillion AUC company. During this time, Javier became (and still remains) a licensed arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Given his expertise, FINRA has called on Javier to resolve complex financial industry matters.

Afterwards, Javier joined Fortune 500 and world’s third largest insurance brokerage company Gallagher (NYSE: AJG). He co-lead a risk management team over nationwide professional liability and cyber security insurance programs for financial institutions. Javier has also founded and launched a number of his own business ventures as well.

Javier graduated from Boston College Law School with a Juris Doctorate (JD) in 2006. Concurrently, Javier graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston College Business School. Javier is a 2002 University of Utah Bachelor of Arts (BA) graduate. More recently, Javier completed a Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive Education Program Certificate, focused on scaling ventures into billion-dollar enterprises.

Javier is admitted to practice in Utah, Idaho, Washington State, and New York.
