Her practice areas include chemical and mineral processing, mining, metallurgy, semiconductor, environmental, water treatment, oil and gas, energy, utilities, alternative energy, lasers, optics, acoustic, aerospace, outer space, food and beverage, consumer products, social media, blockchain/cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, 3-D printing, and State and Federal regulations regarding the environment, food, labeling, and export laws. She earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a Bachelor’s degree with highest honors in Metallurgical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. She is licensed to practice law in New Mexico, New York, and Colorado, and is a Registered Patent Attorney. She is also a registered Professional Engineer in New Mexico and Colorado.
Janeen Vilven-Doggett, Ph.D., is a shareholder in Peacock Law P.C. specializing in patent prosecution in biotechnology, computer science, chemical and pharmaceutical sciences, genetics, medical devices, nanotechnology, and optics, and a member of the litigation team. She also handles patent, trademark and intellectual property, FDA counseling regarding medical devices, pharmaceutical applications, and product labeling requirements. She earned a J.D. cum laude from the University of New Mexico, a bachelor’s degree in biology from Baylor University, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. She is licensed to practice in New Mexico, the United States District Court of the District of New Mexico, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a Registered Patent Attorney.
Justin Jackson is a Registered Patent Attorney, practicing in the areas of intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets) with the firm of Peacock Law P.C. since 2003. Prior to practicing as a patent attorney, Justin worked in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department at Oklahoma State University. He grew up in the country and spent his childhood welding, bolting, and hot-gluing various inventions together in the shop. Because of that upbringing and his continual tinkering, he is more familiar than most attorneys with the tools, fasteners, and lingo that inventors typically use in building and describing their inventions. Justin received his Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University. He has testified as an expert witness for intellectual property matters in court proceedings.
Philip Askenazy, Ph.D., is a Registered Patent Agent specializing in patent prosecution and analysis in the areas of materials, optics, semiconductors, chemical engineering, and electro-mechanical devices. He also assists with intellectual property licensing, technology commercialization, and business planning. Philip earned a bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in physics from Harvard University, and both a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in applied physics from the California Institute of Technology.
Justin is a Registered Patent Attorney practicing all aspects of intellectual property and litigation. Justin came to Peacock Law P.C. from the New Mexico Supreme Court, where for two years he practiced the art of legal writing and research as a judicial law clerk to Justice Charles Daniels. In law school at the University of New Mexico, Justin became known for his classical guitar skills and became the go-to musician for legal and court events around the State.
Isaac Estrada is an attorney licensed to practice in New Mexico, and a Registered Patent Attorney. He handles patent, trademark, and other intellectual property matters for Peacock Law P.C. He holds a bachelor’s degree (Magna Cum Laude) in biological sciences from the University of Memphis, a master’s degree in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and a J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law.
Jeffrey Squires specializes in intellectual property law and litigation for Peacock Law P.C. He earned a bachelor’s degree (cum laude) from Washington University in St. Louis, a certificat d’etude from the University of Grenoble in France, and received a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin where he was an editor of the Law Review and a legal writing instructor. He is licensed to practice in New Mexico, Texas, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. He also has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, and various State and Federal Courts. He has litigated many cases in Courts throughout the United States on matters concerning business and employment law, securities, and intellectual property.
Ryan Wityak specializes in natural resources-related IP law and legal research for Peacock Law P.C. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history (Cum Laude) from Christendom College, and a J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in New Mexico and in the New Mexico Federal Courts.
Camille L. Martinez is a Registered Patent Attorney focusing on intellectual property matters. She received her Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2014, and her J.D. from the University of New Mexico in 2017. She is licensed to practice in New Mexico, and is eligible to practice law in 28 additional states.
Svitlana V. Anderson is an attorney licensed to practice in New Mexico. She is an Associate at Peacock Law P.C. and handles trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property matters. Ms. Anderson was born and educated in Ukraine, where she attended college and law school, receiving her Ukrainian J.D. in 2002 from Odessa National Academy of Law. Svitlana also holds U.S. Bachelor of Arts-Equivalent degrees in Law from the College of Law at Nikolaev Pedagogical Institute and the Ukrainian Financial Institute, in Kiev. Svitlana earned her U.S. J.D. from University of New Mexico School of Law in 2016, where she worked as a clinical law student in the Business and Tax Clinic.
A seasoned attorney, Steve M. McLary has served Of Counsel for Peacock Law, P.C. since 2005. He rewrote and updated the license format for company technology for Peacock Law P.C., and has provided counsel and advice in licensing, leasing, and joint venture strategy. Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, and a J.D. from the University of Toledo. Steve is a member of the Indiana and Ohio bars, and is a Registered Patent Attorney.
Stephen Slusher is experienced in both litigation and transactional IP matters in copyright, trademark, and patents. He earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, and a J.D. cum laude from the University of New Mexico. He is licensed to practice in New Mexico, the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also a Registered Patent Attorney.
